We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric, how do you think about risk?
Chances make champions, you gotta take a chance to be a champ. Thats my take on it. I remembered when I was was getting my business off the ground. I had met Calicoe (Detroit Battle Rapper) at a restaurant in Atlanta. At the time I didn’t know him at all, just only knew of him. Long story short I approached him and we have records recorded together. If I would have never took the chance of approaching him, I would have never got his contact. Hence “Chances Make Champions”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Other than owing and running my own record label “Goat Town Entertainment” I most recently since last year venture off into making my own music along with helping others with there’s as well. When it comes to my own music I try to put a message in my songs. For example I have a song out now. “Money Money” pretty much in the song I motivate others to either get more money than they already have or save their money. I try to relate to my fellow fans because you never know what someone might be going through. With the message in my song I may be able to uplift them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well if it was the first time ever visiting I would first take them to order food from “Coney Island” 2nd I would take them to Hutch’s Jewelry to either buy or look at some jewelry, may even tell them to try on some “Buffs”
3rd I would show them around downtown and have them try to make some money at some of the casinos here.
4th I would take them to a Lions/Pistons game depending on the season
