Hi Tiffany-Rose, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The journey of starting my own cosmetic business is a testament to the power of inspiration within our families. It all began with my daughter’s love and excitement for makeup. She would spend hours watching countless makeup tutorials, soaking in the artistry and creativity of it all. One day, she came to me with and asked, “Mom, can we make lipgloss?” Without hesitation, I replied, “Sure, why not?” Little did I know that this single question would be a transformative adventure into launching my very own cosmetic brand.

We ordered all the supplies we needed to
create our first batch of lip gloss. What started as a fun at-home project with my daughter quickly evolved into something more profound. As we experimented with different shades and formulations, a shared passion for cosmetics began to flourish. It was a journey of bonding, creativity, and shared dreams.
With our homemade lip gloss as the initial spark, we decided to take a leap of faith.

We dived deep into the world of cosmetics, conducting extensive research, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and developing unique products. The brand we envisioned was born out of the love and excitement that my daughter had ignited. Today, it’s not just a line of cosmetics; it’s a symbol of the unbreakable bond between a mother and her daughter, a testament to the magic that happens when you embrace unexpected opportunities, and a celebration of the shared dreams that can become reality. Our cosmetic brand launch is a tribute to the love, creativity, and inspiration that can be found within our own families, turning a simple “why not” into a remarkable “we did it.”

Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets my cosmetic brand apart from others is a commitment to redefining beauty standards. I firmly believe that makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not cover it up. My brand is founded on the idea that you’re already beautiful just as you are, and makeup should be a tool to express yourself, not a requirement for self-worth. My line of vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics is a reflection of my values. I wanted to provide products that align with a cruelty-free and eco-conscious lifestyle, making it easy for makeup.

My journey to this point has been shaped by authenticity and transparency. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve strived to be real and open with my fan base. Overcoming challenges was possible through prayer and a positive mindset, which helped me stay resilient and focused on my vision.
As I love to say when life gives you lemons, put on more lipstick. It’s a motto that embodies the idea that makeup isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling confident and empowered. I’ve built my brand with these principles in mind, and I’m excited to continue this journey of self-expression and authenticity with all those who share in my vision.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A staycation with my best friend sounds like a staycation well overdue. I’d pull out all the stops to ensure it’s a luxurious and relaxing experience. We’d start our day with the most indulgent spa treatments, basking in the ultimate pampering experience, followed by taking in breathtaking views that set the tone for a perfect day. And what’s a great day without fabulous food? We’d visit the finest coffee shop in the morning, followed by a succellent seafood feast for lunch with lobster, crab. For dinner, it’s pasta and sushi, our absolute favorites! And let’s not forget those lemon drops to add a touch of fun to our day.

In between all the indulgence, there would be extravagant shopping – a chance to explore local boutiques and treat ourselves to something special. But most importantly, we’d take time to relax and just breathe. Life gets so busy, and these moments of tranquility and friendship are the perfect remedy to calm us from our everyday busy lives. It’s the kind of staycation that’s all about rejuvenating our spirits and strengthening our bond.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Launching my own cosmetic brand has been an exhilarating journey filled with passion and hard work, and I owe a significant part of my success to my husband, family and friends.

However, especially my husband for his continuous support and encouragement which have been the center of my entrepreneurial journey, keeping me grounded and calm in the midst of the chaos.

Even on the most hectic days, my husband finds ways to ensure that I feel encouraged and loved. His support extends beyond words; he often takes care of the daily tasks that can become overwhelming, allowing me the time and mental space to focus on the business. He understands the late nights, the endless meetings, and the occasional stress, and he’s always there with a reassuring smile and a comforting embrace.

In the whirlwind of entrepreneurship, it’s easy to overlook the critical role of a strong support system. My husband’s unwavering presence and encouragement have been the wind beneath my wings, helping me soar to new heights with my cosmetic brand. He deserves all the credit for keeping me grounded, calm, and motivated, and for being the partner I couldn’t have embarked on this journey without.
