Hi Sherese, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
You know, the end goal for me would be to be in a place where I am happy. When I say that, I don’t just mean financially, I mean mentally and physically happy. I want to have a feeling of accomplishment and success that I did what I set out to do, whether it was to make connections, build relationships and wealth, or open doors for my kids to have better opportunities. That would be the end goal for me.

When I’m ready to retire and maybe do something else other than PR, I want to have that feeling before it’s all over.

What should our readers know about your business?
In a crowded field of publicists, what truly makes me unique is my blend of strategic thinking, creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for my clients’ success. My track record of delivering outstanding results and my commitment to excellence continue to set me apart as a top-tier publicist in the industry.

I have worked across several different industries, even though my niche is Beauty and Lifestyle, I have worked within the entertainment industry and literary industry, and nonprofit industries. I chose not to work with only one type of business owner because I wanted to be more versatile myself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well being from Detroit, we have a lot of places to go and have a good time. Downtown is the place to be! We would definitely spend a couple of days down there. Especially if they are visiting in the summer. We would definitely have to go to a Pistons game! Little Caesars Arena is my absolute favorite place to go and I love my Pistons!

We would also have to go to some restaurants that are not in Detroit but are very good. Maybe HopCat The Sugar Factory, or Townhouse downtown, or Eddie V’s, or J. Alexanders. If we wanted to be in more of a party-type atmosphere, we could go to District Seventy8 or something like that.

We definitely have to go shopping, we have some amazing malls in our area as well, all while visiting more friends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have so many people who would fit that description, but my parents and my children for sure have been my biggest supporters. Sometimes my schedule gets so busy that I barely have time to think, but they are so understanding that this was my dream and what I have always wanted to do.

I could not have done any of this without them in my corner, so my shout-out goes to them!
