Hi Anthony, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
The idea for my business began when I enrolled in college to study music business. However, after just one semester, I realized it wasn’t the right fit for me, and I found myself without a clear direction. I discovered that I had a passion for creativity, using my creative skills to inspire and engage people. I also had a love for capturing videos and photos and enjoyed the challenge of editing them into unique creations.

So, I started to plan my business strategy and define my target audience. Eventually, I decided to specialize in product photography and videography. Over time, I expanded my services to include senior portraits, boudoir photography, podcast production, and recently, wedding photography and videography.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My approach to videography and photography stands apart from others in the region due to the infusion of unique and innovative concepts into my work. I am continually driven to astonish and captivate my audience through distinctive elements such as unconventional shots, vibrant color palettes, and the incorporation of unconventional materials into my shoots. Whether it’s the application of luminous neon paint to a client’s body, dynamic and immersive transitions, or meticulous video editing techniques designed to immerse viewers in the client’s business, I consistently seek to deliver awe-inspiring results. This pursuit extends to the dynamic evolution of my equipment and its usage, always in pursuit of achieving remarkable outcomes.

One defining milestone in my career thus far was the opportunity to film a Young Gravy concert. The sheer energy of that experience was nothing short of mesmerizing and, I must admit, overwhelming. I distinctly recall exiting the security area at the front of the stage, feeling profoundly detached from my physical self. The exhilaration and sheer amazement at the incredible shots I had captured were truly unforgettable.

Undoubtedly, my journey has been far from effortless. Each day presents its own challenges as I endeavor to capture the attention of new clients and cultivate fresh opportunities for myself. The driving force that keeps me relentlessly engaged and passionate about my profession lies in those moments akin to the Young Gravy concert. These are the instances when I’m filled with an excitement that eclipses that of hundreds of individuals combined, an intoxicating euphoria that comes from knowing you possess those extraordinary images, securely stored within your camera.

I’ve gained a profound appreciation for the challenges associated with investing in marketing, as the online landscape remains unpredictable. One’s brand may ascend to prominence due to a well-funded marketing campaign, or it may languish in obscurity, a frustrating endeavor that can feel like a wasted investment. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would arrange an itinerary that includes dining at some of the finest establishments in Midland, Michigan. This culinary experience would encompass renowned restaurants such as Gratzi, Zinc, and the exceptional wood-fired pizza offerings from Pizza Baker, LLC. After that, I would orchestrate a walk through the Whiting Forest, particularly highlighting the stunning canopy walk. Taking this walk during the autumn season affords visitors the opportunity to witness one of the most breathtaking natural displays in the region. To culminate this excursion, an obligatory visit to the iconic Tridge is in order, complete with a leisurely walk across this distinctive structure and a serene exploration of the adjacent park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to my educators who have played a pivotal role in shaping my educational journey, as well as my parents for their unwavering support. I would like to extend my special thanks to Mrs. Stearns and Mrs. McMath of Midland High School, Mrs. Stinson of Jefferson Middle School, and Mrs. Kalinowski of Northeast Middle School.

These remarkable educators fostered an environment in which their students could thrive, nurturing both our creative and academic growth. Their dedication and commitment pushed me to consistently strive for excellence, encouraging me to become the best possible version of myself.
