Meet Brittany Adams | Brand Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Leaving my 9-5 was the most difficult thing ive ever done. Solely being reliant on my business income has created some serious discipline. It showed me that you have to stay consistent with your plans otherwise you wont have the outcome you are looking to have
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well, I have been in Customer Service for 10+ years. I am a licensed Michigan Notary and I have been in the technology/business for 15+ years. I am very proud of myself in general, there are so many goals that I wanted to accomplish rather they were big or small and I actually accomplished them. During the process of trying to accomplish my goals I had no idea what I completed but as I progress I realize the obstacles it took for me to get here.
Challenges are inevitable but you gaining knowledge on the regular usually helps. Think of it this way, if you were trapped in a room or anywhere for that matter, would you try to get yourself out or would you just sit around waiting for someone to get you out? I look at every obstacle like that and so far it has helped.
Ahhhhhhhh, the life lessons……
LIfe in general is a lesson, but I’ve learned to NEVER stop learning
HKK is a growing brand and we intend to keep it going
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would for sure plan a picnic/relax day to catch up on things which HAS to include a deep couch conversation. We for sure would go on a road trip/ with no worries(hopefully), dress up and have an INSANELY expensive dinner date lol. We are suckers for nostalgia so we for sure would have about 2 days full of nostalgic moments (i.e. concerts in the car, a nice drink on the couch with lots and lots of laughs)Oh and i cant forget art museums or any type of museum to take ridiculous pictues
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I know this may be cliche but I am so grateful for my kids. My kids encouraged me on a major level. Not only did they open my eyes to a whole new world but they also gave me things i never had before. My mom has bee there for me through everything, she never left my side no matter how good or bad the situation(s) were.
