Meet Stormie Anderson | RN & Owner of House of Contour

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stormie Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stormie, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
When it comes to the spa and beauty industry authenticity is important. This is a growing industry with new and upcoming brands every week or even everyday. Furthermore these brands are coming in and are not staying long term because they are lacking this fundamental part of their brand. Your clients can tell if you got into this industry for the money or because you have a passion for it. Clients can tell by the way you represent your brand, they can tell by your customer service. People looking from the outside see this luxury business that is generating a lot of profit but don’t understand what it took to get here and get their customers to see their authenticity and genuineness.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
House of Contour is the #1 Medspa in the Metro Detroit area that aims to help people regain their confidence using non-invasive procedures. The services I render include one of the leading sellers in my spa such as the weight loss program with a proven success rate, liquid lipo shots which permanently dissolve fat of your desired area and IV Hydration which helps make sure you replenish your required vitamins. We also offer free health services such as free B12 injections, PH level checks and blood pressure checks. We take pride in offering a plethora of procedures and services that consumers can take part in. There is something for everyone and our customers leave satisfied every time. I got where I am today by the ways I market myself and get as much exposure as I can. Originality goes a long way in the beauty and aesthetic industry because there’s a lot of repetitive things that are circulating. Exposure has been the main emphasis of our marketing strategy at House of Contour. You have to constantly think about how to bring brand awareness to your business and effectively. Things will be trial and error until you start to see trends in your target audience as they engage with tactics you put in place. I want people to know that House of Contour is an evolving door that wants to make sure we are constantly bettering the experiences of our clients.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I wanted to show someone around the area I would show them downtown because there has been some major development down there and it has beautiful scenery. The murals that are present are to die for and are great photo backgrounds. The riverwalk is a staple with its calm and refreshing demeanor. I would take them to some good food spots like pizza cat, sloppy crab and Savannah Blue because the city can appreciate some good food. There is also always some entertainment in the area whether it be a concert in shane park or a comedy show at punchline or even some karaoke bars that have been becoming some fan favorites.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
On this journey of entrepreneurship, having support from people who understand exactly what you are going through and elevate you in the same breath has been a game changer for me. Being a part of a sisterhood that holds me accountable, that gives me a chance to grow and encourages me along the way has been exceptionally important to the success I have achieved today. The Spa Boss Tribe, the organization I’m a part of, is worthy of numerous shoutouts and all the recognition. Because of the profound impact they have had on me and my business I would recommend anyone to seek mentorship in any industry but specifically the spa and beauty industry.
