We had the good fortune of connecting with Anwar Kasha and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anwar, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important thing to know is always stay true to yourself. No matter how talented you are, it doesn’t mean anything if you’re not honest with who you are. Always thank God for the good and bad. Keep your head up at all times and learn from the mistakes you make.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a 22 year old stylist in Birmingham Michigan & I’ve grown so much since the beginning of my career. Nothing in life is ever easy. You live and you learn and you move on. Life doesn’t stop for anyone or anything. Have your moment, take it in, take a break and keep moving.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Anything in Birmingham michigan is really amazing! from the restaurants to the scene there’s always something fun to do! Downtown Rochester is also lots of fun. During the holiday season they have the biggest light show of the year and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve mentioned it before, All glory to God. He is the reason for how far I’ve come and everything I’ve accomplished. Thank you Jesus. My mom & dad have been rock and support system and I couldn’t be more thankful for them. My three brothers have helped and supported me every step of the way. I’m so blessed and grateful for all the love and support around me.
