We had the good fortune of connecting with Quazy2x and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quazy2x, what matters most to you?
I’m big on loyalty. I don’t care to mesh with too many fake smiling faces. What makes me me is the fact that before anything I stand on my morals, whether that be finishing features on time or promising verses or even being on schedule for sessions. At the end of the day music is a business that’s how I see it so if I don’t have to mesh with certain people I’ll avoid it for peace of mind really.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m someone still grinding to get what I want. Being that I’ve experienced labels a lil bit I’ve seen a bit of where I’m trying to go now it’s just putting plans in motion to get to that goal and ultimately bring my guys as well in the long run. It’s been pretty hard if I’m being honest, but I’m learning to have more fun with it and since then I feel I’ve improved on my art and work ethic. I tell myself everyday I’m the best and become my own biggest fan because that to me is the only way to keep going at a high level which is what I seek to do and to have longevity in an industry where it’s rare nowadays. It’s cliche, but best advice I can give is never give up, never become overly competitive to where you miss out on the fun, and don’t trust everyone because they do NOT always have your best interest in mind.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Off the rip the best places are Eastern Deli and New York Fried chicken. I can’t even say too much you just have to go and see for yourself.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely want to shoutout my guys first, Primetime Pedro, Wolo Jay, MKE, G Simmie, and JUST$HAUN. Outside of that, I’d like to shoutout OTW Mari and ToodieRich some of my people for sure that I mess with
