Meet Natalie Alexander | Licensed Professional Counselor and Relationship Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Alexander and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my counseling career as an intern at a moderate security residential facility for adolescent boys. During their 4 month stay, I noticed that they would adopt the therapeutic tools that we discussed during the mandatory individual session. However, when they went back home, several of them recidivated due to returning to the toxic environment that they lived in. I then decided to go into private practice knowing that a parent would bring their child to my office, in which case I would be able to consistently treat the whole family and thereby positive influence the whole family.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Mission behind my brand is to provide awareness, education, and healing through the vehicle of healthy relationships. What separates me from other sources of competition is 3 fold :
My empathic approach is an authentic aspect of my healing technique and provides an organic connection to those whom I counsel.
My work and endeavors to create a TV show (show) will provide “homework” for the audience: things that they can do to help themselves in their own relationships. This is an audience engagement opportunity.
The journey’s from WORSE to Better WITH those that she counsels. Other shows have a definitive separation from those being counseled. Her aspirin collapses that dividing line, allowing for a sincere authentic, and palpable connection.
My journey to where I am today was smooth, spiritual and inspiring. Smooth in that I was able to connect to people who encouraged me to move in this space and succeed, spiritual in that it took a lot of pf prayer and meditation. and Inspiring in that the feedback from my client base continues to inspire me to fine tune my healing gift and radiate.
I want the world to know that although the healing journey may be challenging, with the research supported techniques, it is possible,
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people that I must shout out starting with my co-parent Everett Alexnder who supported me by taking care of the children and putting them to bed (while we were married), and My OBGYN Dr. Jacquline Sylvester , who encouraged me to elevate my education. And Sequel Youth and Family Services for giving me the opportunity to develop my healing gift among the most difficult population to serve.
