Hi Pinkie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Honestly, I’m so grateful for the risks! The risks are the reasons why I’m so unapologetic, fearless and most importantly CONFIDENT! Before I started event promoting, hosting & special guesting… I showed up to bars and clubs alone. Makeup Artistry had been a passion of mine for years before I took the leap and enrolled in esthetic’s. I spend summer’s on end with box braids, practicing my slick ponytails and wig installation, not knowing nothing about hair once I moved here I was enrolled within two months! Lastly my business “Pinkie’s Playhousee Collection” was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken and the best one! Starting off as a sole proprietorship, investing so much of my personal money and time. Making products,labeling and more while enrolled in school. Now with more knowledge on business credit and social media marketing and vendors my business is ready for the reopening in the new year! Something I’ve said to my audience is “Do what their scared to do, to make what you want happened!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a licensed esthetician, soon to be cosmetologist and a small business owner. I’m in industry with high competition, what sats me a part is honestly my individuality that I’m able to pour into creating my brands and entering this line of work. I have became more knowledgeable and all things related to beauty. Initially of course practicing and practicing my craft, but more so creative marketing, business plans and sales strategies. I’ve learned that we all start at the same place, with that acknowledgment I was able to limit my self doubt and any comparison I might’ve made with other brands or service providers. So what is up next for me and my brands? March 24” I will be taking start taking clients! As far as Pinkie‘s Playhouse collection I will be reopening. Where other upcoming Service providers can buy products from me and also dolls who want to learn what I know can purchase e-courses! Lastly I will be dropping my limited edition clothing brand!

I’d like to give a special shoutout to the gworlsssss! If you know me I’m a genuine girls girl! My homegworlss, social media gworls, other entrepreneurs or creators gworls.
