We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Hutchison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nick, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I fell in love with the idea that the right book at the right time can change your life. I have seen so many lives change because of the power of personal development books and I wanted to be around that energy all the time. By helping authors promote and market their books, we are helping them make a bigger positive impact!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We help authors promote and market their books on social media and on podcasts! What sets us apart is that every single person on my team is as obsessed with personal development books as the authors themselves. We believe these books can change their reader’s lives and we are making that happen every single day. Although growing a successful business is never easy, I have come to view obstacles and speed bumps as learning opportunities. They don’t surprise me anymore. They are simply part of the process!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live on the south shore of Massachusetts, about 30-minutes from Boston. If someone was visiting, I would take them into the city and show them around some of the historical sites. Boston was founded in 1630, which means that is has quite the history!!! Then, we should head down the Cape and check out some of the beaches.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to a mentor of mine, Kevin Horsley. Kevin is the author of an amazing book, titled Unlimited Memory. Kevin shows us that we are all capable of doing more and being more. He has met with me as a mentor and as a friend on a monthly basis for the last 5 years or so. During these meetings, he has provided an incredible amount of personal advice and business advice.
