I have always loved expressing my creativity, it’s therapeutic for me. I love to see my ideas take shape and come to life and I absolutely love seeing someone else enjoy pieces I’ve created. Teaching crafty and creative classes just sort of happened and I fell in love with it! I get to be creative and I get to teach others to be creative. There is so much joy in the entire process especially when a person finished a project and they light up with excitement! I’m so grateful to have so many opportunities to share these creative experiences with others. Read more>>
I pursued an artistic or creative career because I was destined to be a creative. As a child, I grew up on the west side of Detroit and strive for greater things. I grew up in the neighborhood, striving to be heard to make a difference. As a child, I would draw on walls at home and learn new things in order to get a flow of creativity because that’s all I had. I started to get put in the different art programs from the Detroit Institute of art and different established art organizations. Read more>>
As I mention in Blue-Collar Cash, I talk about filling all of your buckets evenly. You need to evaluate and define what those buckets are. I bring the struggles I’ve been though and the things I’ve overcome into my art with me and it’s both beautiful and surprising to me to see how it translates onto paper. Read more>>

I am doing something that hasn’t been done in ages on lake st clair. Not only that, what sets me apart from the next person in my industry is my passion and love for it. Stillness makes me happy. I think that we often move through life at such a fast pace that we forget mindfulness. I find myself to be the most at peace when I have the opportunity to truly take in a moment, whether it’s a quiet morning with a cup of coffee, or while spending time with a group of friends where I have the chance to sit back and appreciate what is right in front of me. Instances like this are reflective and rejuvenating for me, and often are the root of some of my favorite memories with myseelf, my friends, and my family. Read more>>
