We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloé Haddad and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloé, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been my genuine care and attention to each client’s individual needs. Whether it’s through massage, yoga, or creating a custom made Mala, I take the time to listen and understand what each person is seeking. My approach is rooted in mindfulness and connection—both to the client and to the energy we create together.

I am also committed to continual growth. After 15 years in the fitness industry, I transitioned into focusing on yoga, massage, and energy healing because I felt called to deepen my practice. I’ve spent countless hours studying and working with incredible mentors, and I continue to learn every day. This dedication to growth, combined with my passion for wellness, has helped me build a brand that resonates with others.

Another important factor has been my experience as a full-time parent to three children while their dad was away for months at a time. During those years, I learned resilience and the ability to adapt, which helped shape my mindset and drive. Once he returned, I transitioned into working, sometimes juggling four different jobs at once. That period taught me valuable lessons in time management, hard work, and the importance of creating balance, all of which I bring into my wellness practice today. It’s these experiences that have deepened my understanding of the need for self-care and healing, not just for myself but for others.”

Ultimately, it’s the combination of authenticity, mindfulness, and a true desire to help people heal that has driven my success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is the personalized attention I give to each client. Whether it’s a custom Mala, a massage, meditation or a yoga session, I tailor my approach to the individual. I also integrate mindfulness and energy healing into everything I do, creating a holistic experience that goes beyond just physical relief.

It hasn’t been an easy journey. It’s taken a lot of hard work and adapting, especially after going through COVID and the shutdown of my gym business, followed by a divorce. Juggling my professional growth with being there for my three teenage kids, including one heading off to the military, has been a challenge. Finding balance between starting a new career journey and supporting my family has required an immense amount of dedication.

Owning your own business means wearing many hats—you’re the accountant, social media manager, marketer, secretary, and more, all in one day. It can be overwhelming, but I’ve learned to stay grounded by focusing on why I started this work: to help others heal and find peace in their lives.

Along the way, I’ve learned that flexibility and resilience are key. You have to be willing to adapt to whatever life throws at you. Through every challenge, I’ve held onto my passion for helping others, and that’s what keeps me going.

I want the world to know that my journey has been filled with ups and downs, but it’s those experiences that have shaped who I am today. My brand is all about authenticity, care, and a commitment to helping people reconnect with themselves, no matter where they are in their lives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Here is what I would do if I had a friend visiting, most of my friends would be coming from overseas so I would stay local for the first few days…
Day 1-3: Local Adventures
We’d kick off the visit with a few days around Rockford. Since it’s autumn, the perfect spot to start would be Pickerel Lake for a peaceful walk surrounded by vibrant fall colors. From there, we’d head to Robinette’s for a scenic hike and indulge in fresh donuts and cider—no Michigan fall is complete without a visit to an apple orchard! Next, we’d spend time practicing yoga at Live Unprocessed, overlooking Versluis Lake, where the calm water and autumn backdrop create the perfect atmosphere for grounding. For dinner, we’d visit Blue Water Grill to enjoy a meal with those same beautiful views of the lake.

One night, I’d book us a stay at the Hobbit House at Detach Primitive. This cozy, nature-immersed experience would be a highlight, especially with the vibrant fall foliage surrounding us. We’d have time to relax and reconnect with nature.

Day 4-7: Up North Exploration
After our local adventures, we’d head up north. We’d stop at Boyne Mountain to walk across the glass bridge, a must-see for its stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Then, we’d make our way to Traverse City for a day or two of winery hopping, and hiking, where we’d savor some of Michigan’s best wines and take in the gorgeous autumn scenery.

If we’re lucky, we’d catch Chants for Peace performing Kirtan somewhere along the way, a beautiful and soulful experience that would add to the trip’s magic.

This week would blend nature, relaxation, and local culture, showing some of my favorite things to do in Michigan.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to give a big shoutout to several people, books, and organizations that have played a huge role in my journey. First, two books that come to mind are ‘The Untethered Soul’ by Michael Singer and ‘Goddess Warrior Training’ by HeatherAsh Amara. Both have helped shape my mindset and approach to life.

I also owe a lot to my family and friends, who have always supported me through all my adventures. Locally, Live Unprocessed has given me a sacred space to practice and teach yoga, while Detach Primitive has been incredible in working with me on my retreat ideas. Wavetone Studios and Howl at the Moon Sauna have been fantastic collaborators in creating unique wellness experiences. Maddox Photography for capturing some great pictures for me.

Finally, a huge thank you to all my clients for trusting me and teaching me so much. I’ve been fortunate to work with an array of inspiring people—teachers, hairdressers, business leaders, spiritual gurus, musicians, therapists, artists, gardeners and many more. Each one brings something exciting and valuable into my life, and I’m grateful for the knowledge and connection I gain from them.
