Meet Denzel Early | Farmer, Content Creator, Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Denzel Early and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Denzel, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Many reasons and one was because when you’re young you have express your insecurities in more than just what language you may know. You express love and compassion, also what makes you feel without.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was not easy getting to this point in my life. All I had was me and my dependence and a few goals. I always had plans. I was chosen to go to Sierra Leone for a peace mission and I decided it was not the right time for me to go. My entire life’s mission from this point was to do everything by the book. I wanted to improve my resumé and I got the opportunity to do that. I wanted to buy more land and I got the opportunity to do that.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them downtown. Spring we could go to a baseball game at Comerica Park. Summer we could go on an outing through a trail. Winter we could go ice skating or go see the Chicago Blackhawks play.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I collect books. The book that most inspired me this year was a book called Chief Black Hawk by Frank Lee Beals. It’s a book I read off and on in between planting seed beds and watering plants.
