We had the good fortune of connecting with Rick Sykes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rick, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Don’t Engage N Road Rage, Inc is a Michigan based organization committed to promoting road rage awareness across the country. The company was born out of my personal experiences and education as it pertains to aggressive driving, but more specifically road rage. Upon my personal research I discovered that there was no organization in existence calling attention to the epidemic of road rage. Therefore, I decided to start an organization that would solely focus on road rage education, awareness, resources and safety (E.A.R.S.).

Don’t Engage N Road Rage was founded in 2017..

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Don’t Engage N Road Rage is a Michigan based organization committed to promoting road rage education, awareness, safety and resources across the country. We have three primary goals:

(1). Strategically maximize partnerships, projects, programs and other platforms to further advance our mission and message

(2). Educate young drivers, more specifically GenZ’s and Millennials to be respectful, responsible and reasonable while on the road (Millennials represent over 50% of all road rage incidents).

(3). Reduce aggressive driving and road rage incidents through education and awareness

Don’t Engage N Road Rage, Inc is both a nonprofit and LLC.
