How did you choose a creative path?

Deciding to pursue an artistic or creative career path isn’t for the faint of heart. Challenges will abound, but so many of the artists we speak with couldn’t be happier with their choice. So, we asked them about how they made the decision in the first place.
I find that creative pursuits benefit me as a person. When I make a sculpture it forces me to visually articulate my thoughts and feelings, and through that process I get to know myself better. Over the years, I have figured out ways to make that creativity flow better, and to steer the creative process to produce curious and beautiful objects that hopefully inspire or connect with the viewer. I pursued tattooing because I have been drawn to this form of art since I was very young. I grew up always knowing I wanted to do something where I could use my artistic abilities and draw every single day of my life. That passion for art eventually led me to the world of tattooing, where I fell in love with the form of art that can be put onto someone’s body. Read more>>
All my life I gravitated to art. I pursued this career because I can use my hands as an art form on people, an expression of love. I have dabbled in many other passions but none leave me feeling as fulfilled. To know that I can make people feel beautiful on the inside and out is what fills my cup up to overflow and continue my passion each and every day. Read more>>
