Hi Alexander, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“The best time to start was 10 years ago. The next best time to start is right now.”

It’s a reminder that yes, you’d be much further if you started before. But the best way to make progress is just to get started.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Astro Creative has evolved so much over the years. At first, we were just a video production company. Now, we’re becoming a full-fledged agency, offering multiple services to businesses across the country.

One thing I’ve learned that has kept us afloat is to stay adaptable. If you don’t allow change, you’ll fall behind. With how quickly technology and our industry change, we need to stay as up to date as possible.

Another thing to know is that for a business to grow, the leaders need to lead, not just be a boss. Being a leader means you work for your team and provide them what they need to thrive. Doing everything you can for your people will create far more impact than just telling people what to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I’m recommending places to go in Detroit in the summer, the first thing I’d say is get some noodles at Go Sy Thai. You gotta try and compare American Coney vs Lafayette Coney and see which is better. I hope they’re still open, but if you want a great snack hit Detroit Mini Donut. I love Basement Burger Bar and Bucharest Grill too. More than anything else, I’m still convinced that Penny Red’s has the best chicken sandwich in the country.

For drinks, you gotta go to the Skip just for the experience. If you want something classy, Monarch Room is great.

I love my coffee spots, so I go to Madcap, Dessert Oasis, and you gotta try SPKRBOX just to see how unique it is.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who deserves the most credit, I feel, is the guy who got me started in this. My high school video teacher Michael Kaufman. He single-handedly gave my life a direction when I fell in love with video production.
