Meet Antonio & Pernishia Avery | CEO’s/Designers

We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio & Pernishia Avery and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Antonio & Pernishia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We are a clothing company that is proud to be black, woman, and veteran owned. Our journey began in 2017 with a passionate vision to establish a clothing line that truly represents who we are. Our aim was to create a line that not only embodies our personal style and taste but also brings back the nostalgic vibes of the ’90s and celebrates our deep-rooted love for Detroit.
What should our readers know about your business?
Beyond just creating fashionable garments, our ultimate goal is to leave a lasting legacy for our daughters. We firmly believe in empowering future generations and showing them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. By building this company, we aim to inspire and pave the way for our daughters to become successful entrepreneurs themselves.
Through our dedication and hard work, we aspire to turn our passion into our full-time profession. We firmly believe that by pursuing our dreams and dedicating ourselves to our clothing brand, we can ultimately become entrepreneurs in our own right. Our journey is not only driven by personal success but also by the desire to create opportunities and pave the way for others who aspire to follow their entrepreneurial dreams.
As we continue to grow and evolve, our commitment to providing comfortable and fashion-forward clothing remains unwavering. We strive to create designs that not only reflect our personal style but also resonate with individuals who share our love for nostalgic fashion and the vibrant spirit of Detroit. Each piece we create is carefully crafted to ensure the highest level of comfort and quality, embodying our vision and values.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
