We had the good fortune of connecting with Brett Blanton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brett, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think life is all about taking risks. Without risk, there would be no progression and if I was scared of taking risks I would never have started my meal prep company. Fear of failure stops up from even trying, but failure is where we learn.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
There have been plenty of times where I wanted to give up or had anxiety attacks trying to get everything done in time working 80 hour weeks. The thing that got me through it all, is the fact that 2 years ago I never would have dreamed to be where I am now. So that tells me dreams aren’t meant to stay dreams. There’s always a blueprint, you just have to follow it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love paint creek trail, and if you like coffee desert oasis is the spot in downtown Rochester.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ve had so much help along the way to get me here today. If I had to pick a few major people who have been by my side through this it would be my mom, girlfriend, friend/coworker Brenden Nguyen, and last but definitely not least Adam and Becky Mastrangelo.
