Meet Dawn Renshaw | Marketing Agencvy Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dawn Renshaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dawn, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own business because I wanted the freedom to do things the right way — with integrity, creativity, and heart. I saw a need for authentic support in marketing and knew I could bring something different.
Just as important, I needed flexibility so I could be available for my children. Building my own business has allowed me to balance family and work while making an impact, telling stories that matter, and creating a life that reflects my values.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business was built on a simple but powerful belief: marketing should be rooted in authenticity, creativity, and integrity. What sets us apart is that we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach. We listen, we care, and we tailor strategies that truly reflect each client’s story. That human connection — building relationships first — is what I’m most proud of.
Getting here hasn’t always been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced seasons of doubt, financial risk, and plenty of late nights. What carried me through was staying focused on my “why” — the flexibility to be there for my children and the opportunity to create something meaningful for my clients. Every challenge became a chance to learn, grow, and build resilience.
Along the way I’ve learned that integrity pays off in the long run, relationships matter more than transactions, and balance is possible if you stay anchored to your values.
What I want the world to know about my brand and story is this: we’re more than a marketing agency. We’re a partner who will walk alongside you, celebrate your wins, and tell your story in a way that connects with people. For me, it’s not just business — it’s about impact, relationships, and creating something that lasts.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d plan a day trip to South Haven to enjoy Lake Michigan. We’d walk the pier, browse the boutiques, and catch a sunset on the beach — nothing beats it.
And because I love supporting local, we’d sprinkle in stops at family-owned restaurants, farmer’s markets, and maybe a day where we just linger on a patio with good food, great drinks, and better conversation.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely — I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support and encouragement of others. First and foremost, my children deserve the biggest shoutout. They’ve been my “why” from the very beginning, inspiring me to create a business that not only serves clients well but also allows me the flexibility to be present for them.
I’m also so grateful for my community — friends, mentors, and clients who trusted me early on, believed in my vision, and cheered me on when starting a business felt like a leap into the unknown. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to keep going and build something that reflects both my values and my heart.
