We had the good fortune of connecting with Denzel Early and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Denzel, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
In this world we have to learn to work together and become each other’s biggest supporters. Helping a person achieve a goal or an accomplishment should be your priority and benefit to others. I’m focused on this now and have been since I was 23 partnering with Arts and Crafts neighborhood organization. Right now I am participating in international initiatives to help get children and families resources for school, health and nutrition. So far me and MWIMPP have raised $116,000 to help countries in Africa continue their rebuilding models. This makes me encouraged and not only happy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It is Spring in the United States, so as we get prepared for Summer many will be enjoying nature and what it has to offer. It is hoped all in this equinox begin to farm and garden. Harvest anything you may have planted the season before. If you have corn growing, amass it and invite yourself to feed students in K-8. If you have cabbage growing, peanuts, keep them free of chemicals and sprays so the groundhogs can find privilege in them. It is our earth’s preservation that we will find challenges in but we can accommodate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you haven’t been to Arkansas I would say go and enjoy going up and down the hillsides. If you haven’t been to places like Uganda or Kenya, I would say visit. You will enjoy the company of the people and gather experiences from their respective lives.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Alliance Defending Freedom has been working closely with my community to address human rights abuses in Nigeria and Southeast Michigan. When you have a group of professionals identifying needs in exhaustive terms it helps a lot. The main concern we see in most cases have been freedom of expression and freedom of movement. We’re helping those who are affected by failing departments and failing systems across the world through informing them in how to handle processes and acquiring contacts.
