We had the good fortune of connecting with Dj Divinity Xxx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Win with Windless Silent Disco was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Our son, who was diagnosed with autism, has sensitive hearing and often finds traditional loud environments overwhelming. As parents, we wanted to create a space where he, and others like him, could enjoy music and dancing without the sensory overload that typically accompanies such events. This led us to explore the concept of silent discos, where music is delivered through wireless headphones, offering a more controlled and individualized experience.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Win with Windless Silent Disco was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Our son, who was diagnosed with autism, has sensitive hearing and often finds traditional loud environments overwhelming. As parents, we wanted to create a space where he, and others like him, could enjoy music and dancing without the sensory overload that typically accompanies such events. This led us to explore the concept of silent discos, where music is delivered through wireless headphones, offering a more controlled and individualized experience.

What sets us apart is our commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that everyone, regardless of sensory sensitivities, can participate in a fun and engaging experience. Our silent discos provide an environment that can be tailored to individual needs, allowing guests to choose the music channels that suit them best, while avoiding the discomfort of loud noises or external disturbances. It’s a celebration of diversity, where everyone can be part of the experience without feeling left out or overwhelmed.

We’re particularly proud of how our business has evolved from a personal need to a service that brings people together, offering a solution for those with hearing sensitivities, autism, or other special needs. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how our concept has touched so many lives, allowing families, children, and adults with sensory sensitivities to enjoy music, dancing, and social interaction in a way that feels comfortable for them.

The journey wasn’t easy, and we faced numerous challenges along the way. From learning how to effectively cater to individuals with diverse needs to navigating the technical side of providing a seamless experience, there were hurdles at every turn. However, we were motivated by the desire to make a difference in our son’s life and in the lives of others who face similar challenges. Through determination and a willingness to listen to our customers’ feedback, we’ve been able to refine our service and ensure it meets the needs of a wide range of people.

The lessons we’ve learned are invaluable. We’ve realized the importance of empathy and listening—both to our clients and to our own family. Our business has reinforced the power of inclusivity and the incredible impact of creating spaces that cater to everyone, regardless of their sensitivities. We’ve learned to approach obstacles with creativity, resilience, and a willingness to adapt.

What we want the world to know is that Win with Windless Silent Disco is more than just an entertainment service—it’s a solution that fosters connection, inclusivity, and understanding. Our story is driven by the love and care we have for our son, and it’s our mission to share that with the world. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience joy through music, and we are proud to provide a safe, enjoyable, and accessible space for all. #KnowLoudMusic #KnowPeace

I dedicate this shout out to Colins Windless Jr. who has been so brave in allowing us to share his personal diagnosis, struggles, and triumphs throughout this journey. I would also shout out his siblings Angel, Alayah, and Chloe for their dedication to our company and family. We could not do this without a “dream team”!
