Meet Kelsey Andres | Health & Wellness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelsey Andres and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kelsey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When deciding to start my own business, I wanted to create a positive atmosphere where people could feel safe, welcome, happy and be able to have a healthy option for breakfast/lunch as well. I knew what I was good at, and that was helping others feel good about themselves and reach their health and fitness goals. I wanted a space to be able to provide that.
What should our readers know about your business?
Healthy Holland provides meal replacement shake, donuts and waffles as well as clean energy and caffeine free options to the community. We also offer Nutriton coaching to help the community reach their health and fitness goals. We also offer a free cardio drumming workout class. At healthy holland we focus on the customer, rather than the sale. We care about our customers and want to provide them with the best experience possible, knowledge about our products and an ear to listen. Alot of our customers will say healthy holland is their “safe space” to be who they are and express the things that are going on in their life. I am most proud of the community we have been able to create inside of healthy holland. Getting to where we are today, it wasn’t easy. Our buildout alone took over 3 months (not expected) with a ton of extra requirements because we opened during COVID. We overcame them by taking things day by day, and staying POSITIVE through it all while working on ourselves in the process. Along the way, I have learned that things that are worth it don’t always come easy. There will challenges along the way. But it is all worth it and you always learn a lesson through the process. I want to share my love for community, healthy Nutriton, and helping others with the world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a best friend visiting for the week, which I have, I would first take them to healthy holland for a nutritious shake and energy bomb to get our day started. Next we would go to Holland state park and go for a morning walk. Catch up and talk. Next we would have lunch at city deli to get their AMAZING San Francisco sandwich. After lunch, I would take them shopping downtown holland to check out all of the small businesses. For dinner, we would overlook the sunset eating outside at boatworks. Throughout the rest of the week, I would show them all of the amazing places holland offers! While always starting our day at healthy holland.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
