Hi Lowena, how do you think about risk?
When I think about risk it puts my mind in a state of frantic. To think of all the possible outcomes whether you will succeed or not is a major risk that most individuals battle amongst the 2 factors “Should I or should I not ?” . Risk taking has definitely played a major role when it comes to my life and career. Most of all my biggest accomplishments or celebratory moments came from me betting on myself and taking major risk; risk that I was once afraid of. I honestly feel like if I have not taken those major risks I will definitely be in a stuck and stagnant position. Thankfully, I decided to pushed through to bet on myself and take the major risk that made me the astounding woman I am today!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Yes, Eighty-Seven Ten Dispatch is an Independent Dispatching business who service Owner Operators/Motor Carriers, & New Authority Carriers nationwide. We focus on all of the back-office work for our clients who operates 18 wheeler semi-tractor/trailers, flatbeds, power-only and box trucks assisting them with freight being shipped and received from all over the U.S.A. Brands from our everyday companies of Walmart, Costcos, Kroger, Family Dollar, Pepsi, Automotive, & etc. I most proud of all the amazing relationships that has been built in this trucking industry and my many accomplishments that was form from Eighty-Seven Ten Dispatch which definitely set our company apart from the others. Now with all the accomplishment and amazing relationships that has been built this journey was definitely not easy. It was a lot of difficult and sleepless nights/days just to make sure everything ran in a proficient and professional way especially by me starting a business on faith and hard work. Some of my best lessons came from Eighty-Seven Ten Dispatch and the main one was to never give up on something you believe in. Eighty-Seven Ten Dispatch is known for its family dynamic and making sure that every client is served. Us being there every step of the way which is a fact that I am very proud of because we’re not just a dispatching service but we’re one that is making sure you are taken care of from being to end and it shows!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly a great time for me isn’t the same for the next person (laughing) but, I will definitely start off on the relaxing side of things first. A great spa day with amazing massages and a glass of champagne does it for me. Of course I will take them to do things that is more of their speed but me being the person I am we have to start off with a spa day, good location for great food, drinks & great ambiance, etc… Any kind of shows whether comedy, art, poetry, dancing or anything that is based on their liking will definitely be on that week’s itinerary and we cannot forget shopping because it is therapeutic (laughing).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I honestly would love to give a special shoutout to everyone I cross paths with in my life because whether if it was a good or bad encounter it all helped me to become my best in someway and aligned to my greater self. Of course my family as well plays a huge factor in my success with my daughter London being my main source of encouragement. As I continue to be the best me that I can be and strive to my highest height I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. There’s no me without them!
