Meet Michelle Williams | Cardiac Sonographer & Baker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me happy is spending time with family and friends and realizing how blessed and fortunate I am.
Helping others makes me happy it gives me a sense of belonging and positivity.
What should our readers know about your business?
The name of my business is MIckey Munch. I started my business because I always had a passion to bake. Baking is an art form, it combines both my love for baking and creativity. What sets me apart from others is that I bake with love.
I care about the ingredients I use, the products I produce and my customers enjoyment of their sweet treats.
Starting my business wasn’t easy, it was a lot of things I didn’t know. I had to do research and ask for a lot of help! The lessons I’ve learned, is to not be afraid to ask for help and never be scared to step out on faith.
What I want the world to know about my brand is baking is my passion. I am so grateful for my culinary journey that I’ve been on thus far, it allows me to bake things for others, which I enjoy.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being that I’ve lived in Michigan my entire life, there are a lot of great spots to visit. Some of my favorites are, if you are looking to relax, the IMMERSE spa is great in the MGM Grand Casino downtown.
If you want to do a day trip, Traverse City is the place to be. There are a host of local breweries, wineries, coffeehouses, restaurants and other attractions such as lakes, rivers and beaches.
Of course let’s not forget about Copper’s Hawk, my favorite restaurant. The food is always amazing, the ambiance is inviting, There is wine tasting and you can become a wine club member and try their featured wines each month.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I want to give honor to God for giving me the ability to do what I love to do. Second to thank my mother, and grandmother, although they are no longer with me, for giving me the knowledge and inspiration. I know they are always watching over me. Lasting I want to thank my family, friends and my sorors for forever showing me love and support in my business.
