Hi Rahnda, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Sola Salons has made a positive impact by providing salon professionals with a supportive and empowering environment. They offer a platform for entrepreneurs to thrive and contribute to their local communities.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Sola Salons, we pride ourselves on providing a unique and empowering environment for salon professionals. We’re proud of our supportive community and the opportunities we offer for entrepreneurs to thrive. Our journey wasn’t always easy, but we overcame challenges through perseverance and a strong belief in our mission. Along the way, we’ve learned the importance of adaptability and staying true to our values. We want the world to know that Sola Salons is more than just a business; it’s a family that supports and uplifts each other.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Metro Detroit for a week, I would take them to some amazing places! We would start by exploring the Detroit Institute of Arts to admire beautiful artwork. Then, we would head to Belle Isle Park for a picnic and enjoy the stunning views of the Detroit River. For dinner, we would try the delicious food at one of the many fabulous restaurants Detroit has to offer. Throughout the week, we would also visit the Henry Ford Museum, catch a Tigers game at Comerica Park, and have a fun night out at the Detroit Music Hall. There’s so much to see and do in Metro Detroit!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
