Hi Reverend Rita M., what do you think makes you most happy? Why?

What brings me the greatest joy is undoubtedly the precious time I spend with my only child, my daughter, Ashley, and the delightful moments shared with my grandchildren, Cameron, who is 7, and August Skye, who is 3. The simple act of creating lasting memories with them is a source of immense happiness for me. Having the privilege of enjoying both the time and financial freedom to be present in their lives enhances the quality of these moments, allowing me to savor the joy of family and the bonds we share. There’s something truly special about witnessing the world through the innocent eyes of Cam and Auggie as I affectionately call them, and being able to contribute to their growth and happiness fills my heart with an unparalleled sense of fulfillment.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I am Reverend Rita Monique Henderson, a Speaker, Self-Publishing Book Coach, and the CEO of Five-Fold Christian Publishing LLC, recognized as an award-winning four-time Amazon Best-Selling International Author.

Beyond the titles and accolades, my journey is rooted in faith and a divine assignment to empower Christian ministers and leaders. I provide them with publishing strategies, guidance, and resources to transform their stories into influential, income-producing books that have the power to impact the world and change lives.

My entry into publishing, now my true passion, happened after self-publishing my first two books. The process was far from easy; I learned it through sweat and tears, becoming proficient along the way. The turning point came when, during a Facebook LIVE, I offered assistance to anyone needing help with writing and self-publishing their book. This marked the beginning of my journey as a book coach.

Since then, Five-Fold Publishing LLC has flourished, and as we approach our 4th-year business anniversary on January 3, 2024, I reflect on the growth and success we’ve achieved. As a full-service hybrid publishing company, we specialize in helping Christian ministers and leaders uncover the transformative messages within their experiences. By turning these stories into powerful messages, our authors connect with audiences seeking life transformation, releasing past traumas and embracing healing and victory.

Through 1-on-1 and group coaching, I provide authors with the self-publishing strategies, guidance, and resources they need. A published book becomes a tangible tool for them to connect with more people when speaking on various platforms.

Our authors have achieved remarkable accomplishments. They use their books to become speakers, influencers, coaches, and more, with many experiencing significant success. The impact of their stories extends beyond the pages of their books, reaching audiences and facilitating positive change.

Sunday:Morning (10:00 a.m.): Start the week on a spiritual note by attending the service at Evangel Christian Church. It’s a great way to kick off the week with a sense of community and spiritual upliftment.

Afternoon: For a delightful Sunday brunch, head to Hudson Cafe. Their diverse menu and cozy ambiance make it a local favorite. Afterward, take a stroll along the Detroit Riverwalk for some scenic views.

Evening: Dine at the Detroit Shipping Company, a unique food hall with a variety of culinary options. Enjoy a relaxed evening sampling different cuisine.

Monday:Daytime: Explore the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History to immerse yourselves in the rich cultural heritage of African Americans.

Tuesday:Daytime: Visit the Detroit Historical Museum to gain insights into the city’s rich history.

Wednesday:Daytime: Catch a movie at a local theater for a laid-back afternoon.

Evening: Indulge in dinner at Buddy’s Pizza, a Detroit icon known for its delicious square pizzas and friendly atmosphere.

Thursday:Daytime: Discover the Detroit Science Center for a fun and interactive exploration of science and technology.

Evening: Dine at The Apparatus Room, located in the Detroit Foundation Hotel, offering a unique dining experience in a historic setting.

Friday:Daytime: Explore the Detroit Belle Isle Aquarium and take a relaxing walk around Belle Isle Park.

Evening: Head to the rooftop of The Monarch Club for a night of dancing and stunning views of the city.

Saturday:Daytime: Visit the Motown Museum for a journey through the history of Motown music.

Evening: Conclude the week with another exquisite dinner, this time at Morton’s Steakhouse, enjoying the exceptional quality of their steaks for a grand finale to the week.

In Detroit, the mix of history, culture, and diverse experiences sets it apart. From the soulful moments at Evangel Christian Church to the enriching visits at the Charles H. Wright Museum and, as a proud member, my personal favorite, the Detroit Historical Museum, each place holds a special significance. Culinary delights at spots like Buddy’s Pizza add a touch of excitement. Each venue, with its unique story, contributes to Detroit’s dynamic and captivating spirit.
