We had the good fortune of connecting with Riccardo Buratti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Riccardo, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
The most difficult thing about the world of content creation is always having to keep up with trends and new ways of editing content and showcasing products. Unfortunately, social networks have created trends that do not last for a few years but, very often, last about a month or little more. Another difficult thing is having to combine personal commitments, study and work with content creation.
This is because social media is not my main job.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Creating content on social media is only a small part of my life. I am in my third and final year of a degree in Design. In addition, I work on summer camps with children. They are the ones who have allowed me to live more carefree lives, because I have always been a very realistic, detail-oriented person with a dry humour.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like to visit big cities and find out more about their past and history but they certainly do not reflect my inner self. I am a person who likes to experience silence and enjoy peaceful moments, even in company. If I were to take a trip with my friends, I would choose a house on a lake or in the mountains. Away from the hustle and bustle and with a garden where you can be quiet by a fire. I am fascinated by life in the mountains and the chance to get to know my surroundings. I would really appreciate activities such as quad biking or, in the case of snow, snowmobiling.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I found great support in my girlfriend who, despite creating little content for her social profiles, saw in this a chance for a breakthrough. Furthermore, I owe part of my work to those who, despite the fact that we were no longer dating, contacted me to compliment me on what I created.
