Meet Sage Castleberry | Musician/Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sage Castleberry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sage, what inspires you?
I am inspired by major country artists such as Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and Conner Smith. They all have put out such quality music and music and are so good at their craft. I hope to put out music like theirs that will connect with millions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The art I like to create is songs. I started writing songs at a young age but didn’t start to do it professionally until I was 19 years old. There are several challenged when writing a good song such as, finding the right lyrics or melody. Pushing through those challenges is well worth it though, that’s when a good song is made.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Handmap Brewing which is a super fun place to grab some drinks, hear some live music and be around even better people. I would also bring them to my house and let them play with my dogs haha.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
An organization I would like to shout out would be the Haven Of Rest in Battle Creek, MI. They help so many people get their lives back on track with their “life recovery program”, one being my grandfather. They have such a great organization that continues to help countless people everyday.
