Meet Selena Martinez | Nail Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Selena Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Selena, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important thing I did was learn a new skill that is beneficial for everyone worldwide and it’s also something I can teach my kids for generations to come.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of what I have learned and accomplished within the first year of being in business as a Nail Artist. It definitely wasn’t easy especially being in this industry and in this industry it requires a lot of dedication and hard work. Lessons I’ve learned along the way is to stay consistent at what I love doing and to also always never self doubt myself and to really believe myself and my capabilities. My brand is the door to opening self-expression in your own unique way and this is something that I hope to encourage people to understand and be more open about worldwide.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some exciting places to check out would definitely be the local restaurants because they definitely are family-oriented and they love to feed their customers and even newcomers a homemade meal and that to us is a form of love language. I also might take my friend to a nearby park with some beautiful scenery because they definitely have that around here where you can just watch the geese flock in the pond.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many mentors that I have came across during this journey that I’ve been on, one would have to be Kiara Sky she’s also a self-taught nail artist a Facebook friend of mine Layla Moni also have Mashayla there’s just so many other self-taught artists out there that I watch on Facebook and YouTube and these are the people that have helped mentor and shape me on this journey.
