Hi Shalandria, how do you think about risk?
Honestly, risk scare me but my passion is bigger than fear. I take deep breaths daily to keep pushing my brand to the next phase of quality.
What should our readers know about your business?
Hot Commodity EyeWear is a sunglass and optical frame company based out of Detroit Michigan. Our collection is to innovate, cultivate, and elevate. I’ve been honored to build confidence and inspire fashion forward. Our customer seeks being fashionable, vibrant visionary style, and a class act. As with the main principles of building any collection, our goal is to push the limits of quality.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Detroit is innovative from music, cars, and fashion. I would for sure take them on a tour to the Motown Museum. Then dinner at the Detroit Renaissance Building off the water. Then a social nightmare at PAO for drinks.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and close friends have been amazing.Business Women in Detroit and Detroit Netwerk have been innovative towards me personally and promoting my brand. Both partnerships have built endless opportunities and connections.
