We had the good fortune of connecting with Tricia Horne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tricia, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
Moved to a new city starting from scratch as a single mom. I wanted more for them and to show them there’s more to life and that you can always rebuild. You just have to show up daily and put in the work.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sure! I help entrepreneurs—build businesses that actually fit their life, not the other way around. My work blends business strategy and mindset coaching that’ll help create financial freedom by doing what they love, without burning out or losing themselves in the process.

What sets me apart? I’ve walked the road. I’m not sharing from a mountaintop—I’m in it with you. I’ve made the hard choices, restarted when things flopped, navigated the overwhelm, and found my way back to purpose after detours. I’ve got 20+ years of experience in business and banking, but more than that, I’ve got a heart for people who know they’re made for more and just need someone to remind them they’re not crazy for believing it.

Was it easy? Not even close. There were moments I wanted to quit, times when I questioned everything, and times when the vision felt really heavy. But God kept showing up. I learned how to surrender, trust the process, and kept going—even when it was messy

Some of the biggest lessons? Start before you’re ready. Perfection is a trap, is doesn’t exist. Consistency beats hustle. And rest is not a reward—it’s part of the work and a necessity.

What do I want the world to know? That it’s never too late to rewrite your story. You don’t have to have it all figured out to make a difference. And success doesn’t have to come at the cost of your peace.

My brand, my story, my heart—it’s all rooted in helping others overcome, believe again, and build something that matters. I believe we’re all here for a reason, and I’m here to help you remember yours.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ooh, I love this question! We’d be doing a little bit of everything.

Day 1:
Brunch at MT Just Love Café—they have a bit of everything and it’s Amazing. Then we’d head to a Machine Fall to walk and see waterfalls, catch up, and take in the scenery.

Day 2:
Brunch at The Loveless Cafe, the biscuits melt in your mouth. We would Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and The Grand Ole Opry because she loves that stuff. And we would end up on Broadway soaking up all the live music.

Day 3:
We’d get a massages, facials, the works. Because, why not?!

Day 4:
Visit Arrington Farms soak up the view and have picnic. Great place to catch up, make memories and it’s a beautiful backdrop for all the photos we would be taking.

Day 5:
DIY workshop, pottery, or candle-making. It would be a great keepsake and a memory. Dinner would be at a rooftop spot or somewhere with a view, so we can soak in the sunset and reflect on life.

Day 6:
We’d spend the day doing absolutely nothing. Sleep in, hang out and reset. We’d definitely laugh until our tummies hurt and talk about what’s next in life and business.

Day 7:
A must do photo-shoot with the angel wings. For me, the best experiences are the ones that happen naturally and are filled with love, laughter, conversation. It’s not always about flashy—it’s about being intentional.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, My family, they have been my biggest support system, my encouragers, my safe place, and the ones who remind me of who I am when I forget. Their love, support, and belief in me have carried me through highs and low. They’ve helped shape the woman I am today.

And God—He’s been my constant. He’s been guiding me, stretching me, and reminding me that I’m never walking this journey alone. Every open door, every lesson, every bit of growth—it’s all Him.
