Hi Viniecia, what do you want your legacy to be?
My legacy will be a story of Bravery, Determination and vision.

I believe what people will remember most about me is my ability to spread the message of healing through art.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is living poetry. I speak first and paint later. As a way to purge the mind and it’s very cloud like presence.

What sets me apart from most emerging artists is that I speak for those that are voiceless and faceless in a society where dreaming has shifted to mindless behavior and geniality is an lost art. The open mind open heart policy in every piece reflects going ahead in life’s situations this way. Possessing the ability to see myself in all ways in all people.

I am most proud of my determination to never give up on the mission at hand which is to continually inspire generations of weird girls like me!
I am looking forward to where this journey will lead me as it has already allowed me to show up in many places and spaces out there.

I feel I am where I am professionally by sheer determination as well as hard work. Combine that with love for the people I touch and those whom have supported this vision is why I am where I am .
It was never an easy task. You get wayyyyy more no’s than yes’s. But will to get back up and remember why you chose to walk this path. Is understanding it’s greater than you.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are like any other life lessons
Be wise
Spend wise
Trust wise
Pay your taxes
And smile plenty!

I want the world to know that its totally ok to be weird. Its ok to express your vision. Embrace it. NAYETAYE VISUALS is a brand that celebrates this state of being everyday.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d take them to Belly it food truck We’d also shop at a few of my fav spots to shop in the city

Motown witch
We’d. Also go get sweets eats and dope accessories from sweet potato sensations/ naturallyflyydetroit
We’d go listen to some spoken word @ flowers (chroma Detroit)
And smoothies at Michigan Squeeze station.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a few people that has played a major key role to many of my successes and that’s first the community of Detroit. The many that hold every side together creating new spaces for people like myself. And as always the Queen of small Business Jennyfer Crawford. (Askjennyfer)
