Meet Tracey Sanders | Chief Visionary Officer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracey Sanders and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tracey, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of Lavender Mobile Spa is my resilience. This has been a long and sometimes very difficult road to building this company. I have wanted to give up sometimes. But I keep at it each and every day. I can’t give up and fail. I’m not built like that. The way that I structured the company keeps the overhead low and is easily scalable. This makes the profitability and earning potential limitless. Entreprenuers must harness inner strength, stay resilient and relentless to pursue their dreams and leave legacy for their families.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have been in the entrepreneurial eco space for 30 years. From Holiday gift baskets to home meal delivery, seems I’ve done it all. I believe what sets me apart from others is before there was internet, email or social media, I was navigating this business world. I have learned such patience and resilience over the years. I have also learned what business owners need by being an employee for 25 years. Once you learn to be a good employee, you can be a great business owner. I am proud to have tried several business endeavors and have never given up on success. Eventhough those businesses failed, I have realized what I should have done to make them successful. I have taken each lesson and used it to fortify my knowledge and experience so that I will not fail again. I am also proud that I have stop comparing myself to other businesses and their growth or seemingly success. Fact is, I am on my own journey and my own time table. No one can take my business to its pinnacle except me. Lavender is in its growth and expansion phase and we are preparing to scale across the country. We are envisioning becoming a household name and everyone knowing who the girl in the purple car is!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would visit the following places: Detroit Institute of Arts, Campus Martius, downtown Birmingham for dinner and Dave and Busters in Novi for fun and games. We’d also go to Top Golf in Novi
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to say my husband Jon. He is my biggest fan and supporter through all of my entrepreneurial efforts; some of which began out of emotion and some intellect. He gives me encouragement when I’m feeling insecure or nervous about a business issue. He boosts my ego when I’m down and rubs my feet on those tired days. He lets me know that its “not that bad” when I think its the end of the world and keeps the ship steady when I’m about to jump overboard. In all of this goodness, Jon still lets me know when I’m wrong and when I need to temper my tone. He truly helps me stay grounded. So honey, I dedicate this shoutout to you!
