We had the good fortune of connecting with LB199X and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LB199X, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I always know I was different! The way I approach anything in life was all I needed to know about myself for me to understand that. I always did what I thought was right and fair and I always stood on what I believed in. I’ve worked jobs as well to further my point that a I just don’t fit in this type of career. I’ve always had drive and ambition so working was the east part but keeping my attention on something I never had a passion for was the hard part. So I knew that I had to count on mind and myself and the resources around me to make this happen with my art. Learning through trail and error that I had to learn the steps for me to become successful in this field of art so my drive fueled me all these years ! And through it all highs and lows I’m greatful for all that I’ve been through.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When it comes to music we always hear how different and unique an artist should be. Instead of just letting the artist just be ! So I can honestly say I’m blessed to believe in myself and art enough to not conform to the mass expectations and I’ve developed a void where I can just create ! I’m a sensitive person so I feel and observe everything and I apply it to my life and art. Being able to actually call my self a professional artist and to be able to actually be in the industry and not have to do anything but create is a great blessing for me ! I’ve dedicated my life to this and it’s good to see how long I’ve been doing this and how I’ve been able to continue to do this is amazing. I had to move away from home to different states by myself developed and understand the game working in trenches with unfamiliar people and putting in countless hrs I deserve everything I’m working towards. That’s why I go so hard in this I actually mase something from nothing ! My brand is all about mind over matter !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Lol I barely club but I def will be in them tho lol I love going to restaurants out in the city pillepppe chows is one I like hitting the chill spots like harlot and barcode. I’m on Hst a lot at giving tree for my good gas ! And i definitely hit up sugar & spice in Hyattsville for some good Carriben food. Then when I’m. Chillen I’m in the house or in Glenarden !
