Meet Brooke Rozmenoski | Functional Nutritionist and Personal Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Rozmenoski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to change the narrative on how I was seeing women treat their body, themselves, motherhood… all of it. I was watching too many women struggle and be told to eat less and just exercise more only to feel more frustrated and like their body was broken when really its because the information being given to them didnt take into account what they were truly needing. Our business aims to not only let women be heard but truly support them in getting what they want and how they desire to feel in their skin by supporting them in what they truly need, especially in a world where the information is overwhelming.
What should our readers know about your business?
Im so proud of the team we have and how we support women. My goal was to bridge the gap in what I was seeing between nutrition coaches, workout plans, and naturopaths. So many people were being told what to do but werent getting the support in HOW to actually apply it in their everyday life, so it wasnt working. My team and I not only work to get answers on why people are feeling how they are using comprehensive testing but we also work 1:1 with clients to help them truly create sustainable change in their life and feel empowered in what they need by addressing the lifestyle needs as well as nutrition and proper exercise programming for their body and goals in a way that makes it attainable.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite brunch is Commonwealth in birmingham so definitely starting there, then grab a latte and head to the smaller town I grew up in Metro Detroit and grab one of the best sugar cookies from there. Food wise would have to continue with the honcho nacho from Honcho in Clarkston with pulled pork on it. Some of our favorite places to visit are some of the local trails around the metro area or head up north especially in the summer to Petoskey or Traverse City.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband has always been on board no matter how crazy my idea. He has always trusted in me to follow thru on what I say and has made parenting together while being a business owner so much more doable. I cant describe how grateful I am for the mentor ive had, Heather, and truly believe anyone who has a goal can benefit from having someone in their corner who has been where they want to go
