We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Weesies and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to start my own business because I wanted to be more self sufficient and be able to provide for my family while being able to control my own hours so I could still have family time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe what sets me apart from others is that I try to form relationships with my clients. I want them to know that I care about them and their lives and that I’m not just there to make a profit. I’m most proud of being recognized for the work I do. I love that I was able to make a name for myself in the lawn care community. It wasn’t easy getting where I am today. I needed a lot of support from not only my wife and family but also needing word of mouth from the small town we live in.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them around to see the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and show them all of the state parks around the shore line.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my new business partner, Andy. I started this business back in 2021 and after 3 years I felt myself come to a plateau. Andy came along in late 2024 and offered to partner up and now we have been able to expand and better our business.
