We had the good fortune of connecting with Jimmy Flair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jimmy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was more of a reaction. Working a 9-5 is all good but in that process I learned ways to start a business. Music was my first choice and that turned into product and merchandise sales.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what sets me apart is work ethic and consistency. This alone will separate you in a positive way from the rest.

What make me the most proud is that I actually have fans and people that listen and support our music and invest in our products and merchandise. I never saw this coming and no matter if it’s 1 supporter or a 100 I appreciate them all just as much.

I got where I’m at today in business by staying consistent being preparation. Because if you stay ready you don’t have to get ready.

And no it’s never easy when your building from the ground up. You will face scammers, haters, no likes, no followers stay at it and things will change like I mentioned a few times in this interview CONSISTENCY IS KEY mixed with relationships building. Having good relationships with people that’s making it happen in your line of business is necessary as well.

The most valuable lesson I learned is people won’t see your vision it’s up to you to bring it to there attention through marketing and advertising.

To the World : Rare Flair is one of the hottest independent label/brand today and in time the hottest in the world. All I Need Is Opportunity. But until opportunity comes OUT WORK EVERYONE.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Idlewild, Michigan a.k.a Black Eden. In summer there’s a lot of festivals and activities like live music and local vendors for peoples needs while at these events. Idlewild is also surrounded by 3 lakes so water sports and actives like boat rides and jet ski are available. And if they wanna experience snow in the winter Idlewild is a winter wonderland located in the Northwest area in Michigan. There’s also Idlewild State Park where you can camp or hike.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I like to give a shout out to to the 3 F’s . Family / Friends / Fans, for all the support over the years. And stay tuned we just getting started.
