Hi Joe, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Over time, my approach to work-life balance has evolved significantly. Early in my career, I focused heavily on work, often sacrificing personal time to ensure success. But as I’ve grown both personally and professionally, I’ve come to understand that achieving the right balance is not only about managing time but also about aligning your work with the lifestyle you want. Now, I see balance as creating a life where my work energizes me and supports the experiences and relationships that matter most. This shift has allowed me to be more intentional about setting boundaries and prioritizing the activities that enhance both my work and personal life. It’s a continuous adjustment, but it’s essential for long-term fulfillment and productivity.

What should our readers know about your business?

Our focus on relationships, personal development, and long-term success goes beyond just real estate transactions. The journey to where I am today hasn’t always been smooth. Like any business, we’ve faced challenges along the way, particularly in navigating financial growth and wealth-building strategies. Overcoming these hurdles has made us stronger and better equipped to guide others through similar challenges.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Detroit for a week, we’d kick things off by diving into the city’s vibrant sports culture. We’d catch a Lions game at Ford Field or a Tigers game at Comerica Park, depending on the season. The energy at those games is contagious, and it’s always a highlight of any visit to Detroit.
For a family-friendly experience, I’d definitely take the kids to the Detroit Zoo. It’s a great way to spend a day, with its immersive exhibits like the Arctic Ring of Life. Another must-visit with the family would be The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The kids would love exploring the vintage cars, trains, and even Thomas Edison’s Menlo Park laboratory replica at the museum, while Greenfield Village offers a fun, hands-on way to experience American history.
To wind down in the evenings, we’d explore downtown Detroit and maybe grab a casual meal before hitting one of the city’s rooftop bars for some great views. It’d be the perfect mix of sports, family fun, and Detroit’s unique culture.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my wife, Renee, and my two amazing children, Lewis and Lily. They’ve been a constant source of support, inspiration, and grounding throughout my journey. Renee has always been there to help me find balance, and Lewis and Lily continually remind me of what’s truly important in life. Without their understanding and encouragement, I wouldn’t have been able to build the career and lifestyle that I have today. They’re the real foundation behind my success.
