Meet Rodnesha Ross | Founder & President

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rodnesha Ross and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rodnesha, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Our business is deeply rooted in its commitment to making a meaningful and positive impact on both the local community and the broader world. We believe in the power of corporate social responsibility, and we actively work towards fulfilling this commitment through various initiatives and programs. Here’s how our business contributes to the betterment of the community and the world:
Housing Program: One of our flagship initiatives is our housing program, which is designed to provide affordable and stable housing solutions to individuals and families in need within our community. By offering safe and secure housing, we address a fundamental need and contribute to reducing homelessness and housing insecurity in our area. This program doesn’t just provide shelter; it provides a foundation for individuals and families to rebuild their lives and work towards a brighter future.
Community Support Services: In addition to our housing program, we offer a wide range of community support services. These services are tailored to address the unique needs of our community members. This includes providing financial literacy education, employment assistance, life skills training, and access to crucial community resources. By offering these services, we empower individuals and families to develop the skills and knowledge they need to regain stability and achieve lasting independence.
Expansion to Macomb County: We’re excited about our recent expansion into Macomb County, where we’ll be opening a Job Clinic and Resource Center. This new facility will serve as a hub for empowering individuals with the tools and resources necessary to secure gainful employment and enhance their overall quality of life. We’ll provide resume building support, mock interviews, job leads through partnerships, interview clothing vouchers, and more. This expansion signifies our commitment to extending our reach and impact to a wider community, positively affecting the lives of even more individuals.
In summary, our business is dedicated to helping the community and the world by providing affordable housing, offering comprehensive community support services, and expanding our reach to new areas like Macomb County with the establishment of a Job Clinic and Resource Center. We believe that by addressing local needs and actively participating in global efforts, we can make a positive impact and contribute to creating a better world for all.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Thank you for the opportunity to share the story of Youth Community Agency, a project that has grown from a seed of passion into a thriving force for positive change. What sets us apart is not just the services we provide but the heart that beats at the core of our mission.
I am most proud of the unwavering dedication of our team and the transformative impact we’ve had on the lives of those we serve. Our journey hasn’t been easy, filled with challenges that tested our resilience. Yet, in overcoming these hurdles, we’ve emerged stronger and more committed than ever.
The lessons learned along the way are invaluable. They’ve taught us the power of community, the importance of adaptability, and the beauty of turning challenges into opportunities. Each obstacle was a chance to refine our approach and deepen our connection with the community.
What I want the world to know is that at the heart of Youth Community Agency is a genuine desire to make a difference. We are not just an organization; we are a movement fueled by compassion, guided by purpose, and committed to creating a brighter future for those in need.
Our brand is a beacon of hope, and our story is one of resilience, collaboration, and the belief that, together, we can overcome any obstacle. We stand not just as a service provider but as a partner in the journey towards positive change.
Thank you for allowing me to share our story.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The people I have to recognize that serves as my village would be my supporters for the organization virtually and in person, along with my Mother, our team at the organization and lastly my mentor that is a constant inspiration to me and also finds time to support my endeavors. The endless support of my mentor has matured me in ways I never seen coming and also the way he doesn’t allow me to give up no matter how rough the journey may seem.
