We had the good fortune of connecting with Sie Blue and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Support Impact Give Hope has been consistency. We’ve shown up for our community, not just during campaigns or crises, but every single day. Whether it’s outreach, mentorship, or resource delivery, people know they can rely on S.I.G.H. That level of consistent presence builds trust, strengthens relationships, and turns small acts into long-term impact.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is rooted in storytelling, healing, and advocacy. I use creative expression whether through fashion, performance, or visual installations to give voice to overlooked communities and untold stories. For me, art isn’t just aesthetic, it’s a form of resistance and restoration. I also incorporate social media, digital creations, and curated experiences as extensions of that vision, using them as powerful tools to raise awareness, build community, and drive social justice forward. Every piece, post, or event I create is meant to spark dialogue, empower others, and challenge systems that silence people. It’s deeply personal but always created with collective transformation in mind.

What sets me apart is that I lead with purpose, not ego. I consider myself a “worker bee” (others do as well—it’s how I got the nickname name) Everything I’ve built, from community outreach to creative projects, is rooted in healing, advocacy, and real connection. I’m most proud of how Support Impact Give Hope has grown into more than a nonprofit. It’s a movement that uplifts youth, survivors, and creatives while challenging systems that fail them. AND it’s still growing

Although we have much more work to do, getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve faced burnout, doubt, and doors closed in my face, but I kept going by staying grounded in why I started. I leaned into faith, community, and consistency even when I had limited resources. The biggest lessons I’ve learned are to trust your vision, serve with integrity, and never let a lack of support make you shrink.

What I want the world to know is that this isn’t just about me. My work is a reflection of every person who’s been overlooked, underestimated, underserved, or those simply bold enough to just BE.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’ll have an eventful day!
Coffee stop at Bas Blue or Cafe Noir
Walk through the Heidelberg project or something art /fashion related
Bike through Dequindre cut
Picnic at Belle Isle—food from trap vegan, street beet, or vegan soul.

A random stop in the middle of the hood
Mcshanes pub or somewhere downtown end the night

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
