Working hard or hardly working?

What’s the right balance between work and non-work time? The traditional 9-5 has slowly disappeared with the emails and zoom and texting going far beyond traditional business hours. We asked members of our community to share with us how they think about work-life balance.
The most important factor behind my success has definitely been the relationships that I have built with my clients. It’s become very clear to me that taking care of my clients is at the heart of my business. When I am embarking on a new project with a client, I always let them know that we are partners on this journey and that I will treat their remodel or renovation as if it were my own. Keep in mind that some people have never worked with an Interior Designer before and they may be nervous about the process, so it’s important to set and manage the proper expectations from the beginning, so that they know what to expect and feel comfortable.
